SnoreMender - How To Use
Your SnoreMender should always be stored flat in its case. This is to maintain its springiness when you wear it.
To wear, fold the SnoreMender and place in the mouth with the short side up. Adjust so the upper and lower trays fit over the teeth.
The SnoreMender stops snoring by moving the bottom jaw forwards which can be felt as a forward pressure on the bottom jaw, indicating correct use - if put in upside down it will feel loose and will not push your lower jaw forwards.
The SnoreMender will stop snoring from the first night you wear it, but for the first week or two you may notice some discomfort in your jaw muscles and some aching in your teeth on waking, which is entirely normal as your body adjusts. Note that there is no permanent effect of SnoreMender on jaw or teeth. If you experience prolonged discomfort, please consult your dentist. Please note that it is designed to fit around 90% of the population - if you have a receding or protruding jaw it may not be suitable for you.
Occasionally at night your SnoreMender may fall out. This is normal and will happen less and less over time.
Some may find excess saliva or dry mouth - this is typical when using any oral appliance, including braces - be patient, your body will usually adjust within a week.
